purposeLanguage resource assistance for LCC students by ELI faculty.

currently the resource center offers
  • Course specific individual tutoring, especially assistance with essay writing and revising. For instance, students can receive help editing their essays for certain courses.
  • Seminars for students who work as English language tutors. Four to five seminars are offered to provide both theoretical and practical ideas for tutoring English. Seminar topics include teaching speaking, writing, reading and Internet resources for teaching. This is done in conjunction with the Career Center.
